Merry Christmas (only 3 weeks late!)
And this year, I was actually prepared. As in, my shopping was mainly done 3 weeks early. That has never happened before.
We were pretty busy with working up until the last minute, Christmas concerts, and lots of family time. My grandparents (GiGi and Papa) and sister Rachel were in town for 2 weeks and it was really great to see them for an extended period of time.
The kids loved Christmas day with all the presents and stuff. Sarah was getting a little carried away with it all and started saying ‘I need more presents, I need more presents!!’
I was thinking that is just so wrong on so many levels, but I let it go seeing as she’s only three years old and I think we’ll tackle the issues of people less fortunate than us, and being generous with what we have next year. She was very gracious, and is very good at saying thank you.
Really though, we could have stopped after 3 gifts into the stockings and they would have been happy with that and an empty cardboard box.
Seriously, I wish I could find that picture of them in the cardboard box.
Here are some pictures for you, in no particular order:
Like the tie?Yes, there was a sweater vest and courderoy jacket, but they didn’t last.
He is the cutest.
You should have heard the singing.
Sarah was singing ‘Zaccheus was a wee little man’ and playing piano at the same time.
She takes it very seriously.
Sarah’s first Christmas concert at school. She did great.
They sang Let it snow, Happy Birthday to Jesus, O come little Children, and We Wish you a Merry Christmas.

More great pics! Abby got that same Dora ABC etch-a-sketch book as Sarah.
Ben is one of the cutest little boys on the face of the planet.
